The Land of Make-believe
My Land of Make-believe pictures started when I tried the "Polar Co-ordinates" option. An image of a simple subject like a bucket, a leaf, or a piece of wood is "flung" from its position in the centre to the outside of the picture, creating an arch-like structure, or a mountain, if flipped vertically. A few layers of these, plus some variations in colour and blending, produce amazing designs, or make-believe landscapes, and are loads of fun as a relaxation after the exacting work of portraiture. The pictures in this portfolio are shown in the order in which they were created.
